At that point it stops feeling like a mistake and starts feeling like a side quest to recover your own package.

My neighbours keep getting their purchases delivered to their house. I often have to go under cover of darkness to retrieve the packages.

I had this for many years. I lived in this place that for some reason GPS said my address was over at my neighbors house. Did DoorDash delivery people actually CHECK the address on the home they delivered to? OF COURSE NOT! So every time I ordered I’d have to walk out onto the street, go over to my neighbors house, enter through their GATE and pick up my food.
Sometimes I did this right in front of the driver and when they looked at me weird I would tap the address number on my house and look at them like ‘yeah, you’re dumb’

I always give the package to my neighbor when the delievery fucked up. Because I am a decent person

It’s all fun and games until you realize the neighbor was waiting for a reason to finally use that ‘Stand Your Ground’ law they’ve been researching since 2021

When you go to pick up your package like it’s legendary treasure.

I rented a place that had 4 units; 3A, 3B, 3C, and…. just 3. We rented 3A and lots of our deliveries ended up at 3 instead.

It’s amazing how much of the younger generation doesn’t socialize with their neighbors

There used to be a person in my complex that had a name very similar to mine, same first and a last name that was only a few letters different from mine, so one time amazon delivered something for me, and apparently they too had ordered something and they switched the packages. Well i didnt even bother looking and tore it open to be like “wth is this, this isnt what I ordered?” And realized it wasnt mine…. Left a note saying ‘sorry for opening’ and put it at their door, later that day mine was at my door, and they had done the same exact thing lol.
