My grandpa wanted to take me on a B-52 ride after one landed at our local airport as part of a “traveling museum” kind of thing. So he picked me up and we headed down there….only to find no flights were being offered because the plane took out a large number of the landing lights on the runway. Someone forgot to measure. Lol.
Edit: Sorry, I know this story is completely irrelevant.
