95% of HRs are completely useless. Like real estate agents before internet, this job will collapse with the coming of AI.

HRs real job is to guide C-Suite with best practices in all things people.
My philosophy is happy employees produce better work. Better work makes happier clients and better products. Happy clients make a happy C-Suite because organizational goals are being met. So keep your employees fucking happy. Pizza parties ≠happy Employees.
You’re holding onto a candidate two weeks after their interview? Fuck that. You’d know if you like them enough to get hired.
You want to give a bullshit reasons for great employees getting mediocre annual reviews? Fuck that. Fight for a higher budget if people deserve it. What’s it really going to cost you? A few extra grand a year? You can manage.
RTOs? Fuck that.
Sadly, C-suite often ignores us. They think they know what’s better. They don’t. Not if they’re treating their people like shit.
There are absolutely HR shills who are there to protect the company. But not all of us. And the dinosaurs are dying. I hope younger blood taking over will help.
