If I was stuck into a situation where I was unemployed and desperately needed money, even if I detest the mission, ICE was promising a lot of money.
The offer would seem enticing.
Flash forward to a few too many civilian deaths and a rescinding of signing bonus.
Workers comp is starting to look pretty good.

What if I got shot in the foot during training?
I could literally get paid to lay in a hospital bed and play video games for how long?
