    1. Revelation 3:8 (King James Version)- I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

    2. I got a nearly identical mini bible as a kid in the ’80s going to a Southern Baptist school in California… except mine had an orange cover.

This is more and better use than I got out of mine.

    3. Ye because church now is all about tax breaks and the collection plate, they dont give a fuck about religion anymore.

    4. There is nothing sacred about the paper and plastic its made of. Nobody should be offended. If the message and content is sacred, thats a different question.

He who is without a doorstop among you, let him use the first bible he comes across

i guess you could say they’re really using the word to… hold the door open for people 😭 practical and symbolic at the same time.

    7. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, holding the door open and training in righteousness

    8. A lot of churches give these out to visitors, so they generally have some on hand. It’s the New Testament, plus Psalms and Proverbs.

      Someone needed the door open.

      “Seek, and you will find”

      Problem solved

    10. “And the lord sayeth, thou shall use thy spine of my book to hold the door”

      Psalami 88868

      Floods, war, genocide, the Holocaust…

This may be the first thing it’s ever actually stopped…
