Control is a bit of a relative term. Influence thru stupidity and cruelty? Sure. Plenty of current examples. Control? Eh. If presidents could control gas prices it would cost .99 cents in October before every election. OPEC is the biggest player in oil prices. Saudi Arabia is the big dog in that yard. Why else would we be besties?

I’m hopping mad at OP and at this post. Steve Buscemi is a fantastic actor and is in no way the face of MAGA. Everything else OP implied about MAGA is true though.

While this is correct, it is also correct that when the president impacts (wages an illegal war with) the countries that supply oil to the world, that has an impact on the price.
