Debuted at the 1960 New York Auto Show . Basically a hovercraft that rode on a 5-inch cushion of air, drawing air through front and rear openings into a 'plenum chamber'. Two jet aircraft starter motors turned aluminum fans at 40,000 RPM . Propulsion and steering were achieved via a revolving jet nozzle that directed thrust for forward, reverse, and turning motions . But it lacked enough power to support a human – good start though !
