The device on the charging/power cable helps prevent interference.

The holes in shoes are so they don’t become a swamp, and the studs on jeans were added because carpenters and ect would hang tools from their pants and the studs prevent them from just ripping immediately

Ignoring the great meme. I do seriously wonder what the plastic bit on the cord is for

1. Air holes to let your feet breathe and prevent trench foot
2. Stops interference. The cable has its own electromagnetic field which makes it act like an antenna and pick up outside signals. The ferrite core stops that from happening.
3. Holds the pocket in place and prevents it from ripping over time or from ripping immediately if you hang something from it.
4. Gave birth to the UN.

I hate the discussion around the United Nations being useless because some peoples only reference for their failures are peace keeping debacles that were set up to fail by the security council setting very strict engagement rules.
The moment the United Nations has any actual authority to step in against the sovereignty of a member state…. The only 8-12ish nations with the ability to project soft power will just leave it.
It’s a phenomenon where the founders of the UN need it to be weak because if anything coming out of it was binding against the wishes of one of more of the only 10 countries on earth that matter…… those countries would leave it and it would be weaker.
It exists as a diplomatic forum of nations to discuss things. Yall acting like the UN not invading Russia, Israel or Iran or Mexico makes it weak. That’s not their job, there’s more UN employees in their agricultural department and world food organization than the entirety of their warzone peacekeeping forces
