The guys name was Jai Singh Prabhakar, the Maharajah of Alwar, he turned up at the showroom in London wearing ordinary clothes on his own, He was disrespected then returned in full regalia, brought six cars, had four more delivered then used them to collect rubbish – news went around the world and they were becoming a laughing stock, deadly for a brand like theirs, Rolls Royce was so embarrassed they begged him to stop and gave him six more cars for free as an apology 🙂
