I thought this was one of those wild looking chickens that have a whole plume of feather on top of their heads where they can’t see where they’re going.
I’m disappointed.

someone in the house accidentally left the freezer open, noticed hours later and tried to cover up the crime. potentially you

door wasn’t closed properly, outside moisture and the freezer working overtime makes this mess. You’re ~~lucy~~ lucky the motor didn’t burn out in the process.
I was blaming the kids for weeks
But it’s still snowing in there all the time
Unsure why

Something was pooching out and kept the freezer door slightly open all night.

I had that in my old apartment where the freezing compartment had a crack – You did not notice it first other than the compressor running more and more. As I did not have much in the freezer I noticed it when opening it – with the result similar like this but not snow like but a gigantic ice block around stuff inside 🙂

1) Check to see if the door was left open
2) Check your seals to make sure there aren’t cracks or debris preventing a good seal. Â
That’s a lot of ice in a short time for regular operationÂ

That means it’s not sealing properly. Definitely check the door.

Be careful op. If any of the items thawed completely and refroze it could be a potential hazard. If you have any sensitive meats like poultry or fish, I’d personally throw it out.

Last time I saw a freezer like that there was a hole in one of the pipes. But that was also a commercial freezer.

Check your door gasket

This is what happens when you dont close it. Moisture from the air freezes. No snow happened.

The Night King from GOT would look fun in there if you had an appropriately sized action figure that is.
I’m not advocating putting a person in there obviously
