Context: In 1763 the Ojibwe used a lacrosse game as a ruse to capture Fort Michilimackinac. They invited the british troops over to watch them play and relax. At the same time however the Ojibwe smuggled weapons onto the field. When the ball “suddenly” flew towards the entrance of the fort the players rushed in an the fort was very quickly seized.
