At this point, it’s so far beyond debate that Trump is the worst president ever, is utterly incompetent, reprehensible, vile, stupid, demented, etc.
The question I have is what is wrong with us to A) have elected such an obviously corrupt and despicable person twice, and B) why are we so numb to it.
Literally ever single day is some fresh new awful thing coming from this ‘administration’, he’s violated the Constitution a dozen different ways in plain view, is kicking off yet ANOTHER Republican initiated war in the middle east, and we’re all basically shrugging, clucking our tongues, and ranting online.

I wish it felt more plausible that a normal American — someone who’s lived through layoffs, rent hikes, medical bills, and just trying to get by — could run for office and actually compete.
Right now it feels like the system is built for people with money, donor networks, and institutional backing. Billionaires and super PACs aren’t the only barrier, but they’re a huge reason ordinary people get locked out.
