    1. That’s proper cat. Your cat has learned to cat. She has achieved her final form.

Wake her up and call her a dick. She will scowl and regain her final form.

Edit: Ooooh! Not normal! Ooooh! Vet! I’ve had 4 cats live to 20yrs old. Every single one did this. Have you fallen asleep in an awkward position before? No? If you did would you rush to the doctor?

    2. cat.exe has stopped working.

      Close now or wait?

Note: Closing now may result in biting, stabbing or both.

    3. In defense of the cautionary ppl in this thread, head pressing is considered a medical emergency in dogs and cats

Though only op will know if their kitty is sleeping soundly or actively and consistently pressing their face into surfaces

    4. My cat does this when he is really stressed, for example when he is at the vet, or when his companion died. Maybe your cat does it for no reason at all, but make sure he is not distressed in some way!

I saw some blasted downvoted concerns and they are right BUT the urgency they insinuate is not. Keep an eye on it. Could be nothing, could be something. If your cat is acting normal otherwise then its just a one off silly haha or a new thing the cat will just do.

    6. My 15 year old baby likes to do this when it’s chilly out. She tucks her toes and nose and goes right to sleep. It’s never stopped being funny to me.

    7. We call that position “regretting life’s mistakes”.

Your kitty is very tired from the -5 jobs it has to work. Be a little understanding.

if it’s a new, persistent behavior, maybe ask the vet? otherwise… cats just sleep weird sometimes. cats just do weird stuff sometimes.
