Two to three month and they will legalise prisoners to do that. Once harvest season comes they’ll put the unemployed on the fields.
And if that won’t be enough, they’ll capture people from for potential crimes via palantir.

We had a deal with “illegals” for over a century. Republicans decided they would be better used as a political football than to keep the deal. Farmers forgot that the deal as it was, had always sucked for the “illegals”but voted for the party that wanted to make them a football.
And I know there’ll be a bunch of dEmOcRaTs are no better flung around on this topic, and there’s certainly always a few. There have been many bills that failed in Congress to attempt to make this deal a little better.
If you think about it, the only reason anyone is illegal is a refusal to fix the system in a way where the incentive structure makes them illegal. And trust me, any of those failed bills going back decades were opposed by more Republicans than Democrats.

The obvious endgame of this is that the incarcerated will be forced to do the labor. Couple this with the two tier justice system for people of different ethnicities and the obsession with crime and punishment under fascism you can easily see where this is going.
Next thing you know is they’ll “decentralize” prisons – to small prison camps directly integrated into farms.

I hadn’t known until that moment just how delusional the average voter was.
