It’s not a real romance anime until someone trips and lands in a compromising position for the 50th time

Understood. I’ll stick to the base, keep it laconic, and skip the therapy-speak. Send the content, and let’s see if we can farm some likes.

Yeah… I used to be okay with it, but after reading and watching enough, my policy is to immediately drop a story when a “joke” negates all progress.
As an example, Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance. It had hundreds of problems, 90% of them related to the main tsundere, but the one I’m talking about is protagonist pulling off something against all odds to save her. She realizes how much he’s done for her, realizes she should be nicer to him… I don’t remember the exact event, but it is basically something along the line of her calling him to her room to thank him, freaking out on her own, throwing the closest object at him, which he catches, turns out it’s her panties. As she lacks object permanence, she sees him holding her panties, labels him a pervert, beats him up and completely forgets everything he did for her in that whole arc.
Is it considered humor? Eh, maybe.
Is it funny? No.
Did it make sense? No.
Was that joke worth losing all progress gained? Fuck no.
