The billionaires that bought out our government have no problem with us starving to death. Long as they get theirs. They can’t wait to take us back to the 1800s. That’s the good old days they keep talking about.

    3. Special shoutout to the ingrates that voted from Trump. Bravo digweeds, you really achieved something no one ever thought possible. Handed your souls over for *this*.

    4. Sickening. A reality where your local grocery store throws away thousands and thousands of dollars of food a day and citizens are starving slowly to death.

    5. I’d bet you a ham sandwich and a firm handshake that there’s someone living within a mile of you that doesn’t always have enough food. It’s bad literally all over. If you, whoever you are, have any time or resources to spare to help your local food pantries or outreach organizations, it would mean more than you’d think to more people than you’d imagine. You can save the world for somebody.

    6. alot of people are against helping people in this situation because they dont want their taxes going towards this kind of thing but have no issues with the MIC raping and pillaging our tax money via contracts.

if you want to help this woman back politicians who want to help people and not corporations.

    8. My hospice aide lost her SNAP benefits as well. She was eventually evicted from her home and lives here with me now. we all have enough to eat and pay bills, so don’t think I’m trying to get people to send money. I’m just saying that there’s more people in dire circumstances than not.

The lady in the audio was right when she said that it’s mostly poor people who are helping other poor people though

    9. This is an embarrassment; Not to her but to our society. (rant ahead: but let’s cut taxes for the billionaires in private jets and raise funds for popular stars so they can pay off $5M ranches….sheesh…)

It’s sad because there are gonna be people that listen to this and go “well you did it to yourself” or “pick yourself up by your bootstraps” and completely miss the point of the concept of poverty. For some reason people always blame the poor person and never once for a second stop and think to themselves, “maybe it’s the system that is the problem”.

    11. I want my taxes to go towards helping feed those in need. Not to fund Trump’s secret police larping in the streets and killing citizens.

I still have a hard time excepting half of the voting population being so cruel that they want this, or so stupid that they were tricked by an illiterate dementia ridden felon into voting for it.

    12. I’m a single 65 male in the Northeast. I don’t purchase meat too expensive only chicken. No snacks etc. My weekly trip costs about $100. I eat basic food cook a chicken a week, pasta… I feel for this woman

    13. “Why it is always the poor people helping the poor people”… oof… This so much. And there is correct answer, but not a good answer.

She’s 65 years old, she’s disabled, she’s legally blind… I really hope she’s not in the healthcare program that forces her to apply to jobs in order to be eligible 🥺

Her starving and suffering paid the tax cuts of people who are far from starving and suffering.

    16. Peter Thiel is having a meeting with Elon Musk and JD Vance right now to find out why this woman has so many potatoes.
