    1. When I was a boy, our pastor said those were worn by Christians who wanted others to follow in their footsteps. After church, my mother very delicately told us that that was not exactly the case.

    2. Probably belonged to an elite prostitute, not a common streetwalker, since this advertisment method required potential client to be at least literate.

    3. This is pretty cool but I bet that shoe was the first thing she took off. Got to be uncomfortable.
