I saw another skit like this. The farmer had pigs and chickens. He would feed the chickens pig shit and feed the pigs chicken shit. So, all the feed was free. Some kind of perpetual motion going on there.

You can lose a lot in cattle ranching. I happen to know a family that has been adamant about selling beef for almost 20 years. Currently the tractors are held together by duct tape, the fences by staples, they got too many cows to feed and not enough land. All in all by the time the years out and theyve sold some cows, they make enough to feed the cows and nothing else. Other members had to get full time jobs on top of their ranch responsibilities just to pay the bills and buy food.
Just because you can make money doesn’t mean you will. :/
