    1. The Wikipedia article is in a sorry state, but apparently Mr. Jonson won the 1949 Pulitzer for his work on organized crime. I’m going ahead and assume that this topic might have something to do with him “hitting the water”

      He’s notable because his brother swears that he had over $2,000 sowed into his socks, but when his body was discovered and returned he was fully dressed but had no boots or socks on.

      Many suggest his money was stolen after his body was discovered.
