I found these photos of my 3x great grandparents. At first glance I thought they were the same photo just different colors. But they aren’t.
The girl’s hat is different. The dress is slightly different. And of course the guy is different. Are these 2 separate groups of people? Is the guy just different? Is this a wedding photo?

To me it looks as if the two ladies could be sisters? Beautiful pictures that show a completely different era on this planet.
Neither the women or the men look ANYTHING like each other
The fact that the poses and clothing are almost the same makes it look like their similar
Look at each face and their features without looking at the clothes or similar body language and you will see they look nothing like each other
Both couples went to the same photographer and rented the same outfit, that’s all (imho)
many photographers had clothes for folk to put on so they could look smart in the photos
Clothing, props, and set provided by the photographer – definitely different people.
They could be sisters, but I also wonder if it could be the same people- just at an older age? I’m not sure. Either way though, they’re beautiful pics! You’re lucky to have them!

They could be relatives who handed down the wedding gowns as these were definitely not cheap garments.
My first thought was it maybe them 5 to 10 years apart. Same couple just grown up and wearing the same or nearly the same outfits to recreate a photo?
