Took a train from Germany to Copenhagen and couldn’t have been more shocked when we pulled onto a ferry for a few hours. It was wild.

Too bad there’s not like some sort of floating train that doesn’t need rails

According to them internets, this was built for coastal defense prior to WWII, but is used now by privately owned diesel powered rail carts. The rails are made with a high-manganese steel which resists corrosion from seawater.

No thank you
Cool place for a break down
How isnt the rails all f’ed up from constant contact with water?
If you can make the whole railroad…cant you make it like 2 feet higher?

Couldn’t have made it a wee bit higher? Lol
Does it just not work when the tide is high? I need more info.
Imagine being a fish and being killed by a train
Those seem like very thin gauge railway tracks ? Or is that just camera?
