    1. I always thought Hitlers rise to power (Stalin too) was one of the most astonishing things in modern history. To think he was essentially a bum at one point, then tried to overthrow the govt, yet somehow still wound up being the most powerful man in the world is just one of the most unlikeliest things to happen.
