It’s always so wild to me that Conservatives don’t see through the flagrant propaganda. I mean a statement like “Teach propaganda to create hate” is just nonsensical. I don’t even think Republicans / conservatives tend to do that intentionally.
But this sort of vilification, this sort of “They’re completely and totally evil and we are totally and completely good” is pretty necessary for the Republican world view to exist. It justifies all of their heinous actions, because they need “good” to win, and they can’t let “evil” triumph.
It also just simplifies everything for them. They don’t need to think about it. “I am good, therefore the side I support is good, and the side I do not support is evil.” That is the end of the thought process.
I just hope more start to grow out of such a simplified world view. But I know it’s very comfortable for a lot of them, so they resist it.

Leftists challenge the status quo and capitalist hierarchies, and this is why we see so much disinformation. It is funded by the wealthy owning class to protect their wealth and power.
I encourage everyone here to read the basic definitions of words like socialist, democratic socialist, etc. without having the emotional and ignorant lense clouding them. A good start is the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, which is a peer-reviewed source maintained by experts of their fields.
The capitalists and conservatives have been calling anything they do not like socialism/communism since the early 1900s. Things like social security, desegregation in schools, public healthcare, cooperatives, worker-owned businesses, the minimum wage, medicare, and so many more things that generally help the people.
We must move past the scare tactics and look at empirical reality: do specific programs, business models, and civil rights benefit the people? Ask this question for each individual item and you will find that the fearmongering is in service to protect extreme wealth.
I mean no point in sending propaganda to people already convinced enough to be registered reps…

* “Pro life – from conception to natural death” while at the same time ok with death penalty and some laws that make killing people under certain situations way too easy
* “promote Biblical…” isn’t there also a law to separate church and state / constitution in your country?
* “Support and defend constitution” yeah we see how high you value things like right for trial and free speach…
* “Cut all taxes” ok genius, and how will this work then? All senators work pro bono, schools police and such are also run by people who don’t need money? I mean until the equipment breaks down since no money is there…
* “No sharia law”. Ignoring the fact that nobody wants a sharia law.. At the same time they want laws based on another fictional esoterical book…

Well, a lot of those aren’t really misinformation. More like framing in such a way that “my side good, that side bad” impression.
“Teach historic American value in school” while the other side is using the word “propaganda”. It can be easily reversed that they “teach American propaganda” vs “teach socialism value”.
The healthcare part is weird (and funny), though. They try to frame as if government controlling something is bad. What can be worse than corporate controlling the industry meant for public service?

If they really thought the Bible is the way to go they should try following its teachings for a change. Looking more into this list they barely value maybe half of what’s on their side. They only value free speech when it’s theirs. They don’t keep separation of church and state. And only cut taxes for the wealthy. Impressive, though, that they could fit this much dishonest propaganda in one little flier. Easily fact checked, but impressive.
