There have been thousands of generations of humans, and you are alive to witness the first photo of a Sunset on another World. This is a real photo of the sunset on Mars.

    1. I never really thought about the fact that the sun would look a lot smaller from mars than from earth. Pretty interesting!

    2. The blue glow is so unexpected and haunting. Mars feels strangely familiar and alien at the same time.

    3. We could have had someone see it in person with like any level of real effort. Or if we taxed people so they couldn’t afford their own space programs.

Sorry its magical but holy fuck our priorities are messed up

Idk bro I’m an interdimensional ancient entity (also the Spirit of Mars) reincarnated as a broke ass dude from LA and I had ancient advanced photos but I lost them.

    5. My friend, I’m not sure you know what “witnessing” means. We’re looking at a (fake) photo, we’re not on Mars seeing this for ourselves.

    6. Ugh – not ANOTHER fake AI photo! People should get 2 chances then get banned for posting AI slop.

Is the sun on Mars also local and floating inside the mars dome like I’ve heard on reddit about our sun?

    8. You can literally go to NASA’s website and find the actual, non-altered photo(s) there. This is NOT that. Title misrepresents the picture, which breaks rule #2.

    9. Stop posting Ai enhanced pictures. Also we’ve had images of Martian landscapes for close to 20 years now.

Depending on if it’s pointed at Earth it could’ve been an 8 billion person selfie
