I did this once at a boat ramp. I was waiting and waiting for him to back his empty trailer down the ramp, finally (after the 6th or so failed attempt) I walked over and asked if they needed help. First thing I did was show the guy to put the tailgate down so he could see out the back and then I backed the trailer in first try. I told him no one showed him until then, so don’t be embarrassed , but I’m sure he still was.
