say whatever you want about him, it’s clear he cares about people and I appreciate his efforts.

He was actually a pretty good speaker at a conference I attended.

      Surprisingly humble and self aware.

    3. Alright… He’s a nice guy after all. As long as there isn’t any kind of monetary benefit to him specifically, I’m all in for this guy.

dude might do some weird shit (I.E. circumcisions on mission trips) but I do believe everything he does is with the best of intentions.

    5. As the dad to an autistic daughter I can’t put into words what these kinds of events mean to special needs parents, we will absolutely be attending these when she’s older.

Our church hosted this during Covid a few years ago. Tebow showed up…it was pretty cool. This photo is my son and a couple of his friends with Tebow.

He came to our church because essentially they canceled it around the country because of Covid, but we made some changes and hosted it outside. We live in Las Vegas and the weather is fine for outdoor events this time of year

    7. My SIL has Down Syndrome, and she is the sweetest, purest soul in the entire world.

Anyone who has someone with extraordinary abilities in their lives understands how important awareness, justice, and acceptance is for them.

These types of events not only connect families in the community, but helps the attendees socialize, be happy, and share a special type of camaraderie.

I’ve been to events similar to this, and they are so fun!

    8. Oh man 😔, protect these people, support these people and love these people. They deserve it just as much as the rest of us! 🙏🏻

For a while, I had the standard issue smarmy opinion about Tebow and his Bible thumpery. Then I listened to some pods about Aaron Hernandez and they all basically made the point that, Tebow was the go to person to pair a player with when that player was troubled or came out of some hell with their abusive family or what have you. He was a person who was safe when so many people around players weren’t. And he seems to be consistent in being a safe person who wants to help. I’m not a Christian, but that seems right, no?

      He’s alright with me.
