FWIW, Pam Bondi is actually a perfect fit for AG in the Trump administration. She is really good at playing this type of performative politics that panders to the MAGA base. Matt Gaetz, who was Trump’s first pick for AG, despite having relevant experience in having relationships with underage girls, probably wouldn’t be as effective.
