Black folks have been third class citizens from the day they were born. They were never given a shot.
However, it has not deterred them. They have the true human spirit in them. They are the real ones. They see this country for what it is and they keep going.
I’m grateful for the example black people set every fucking day. They are the real ones in our country. I’m just fortunate enough to know and spend time with many of them.
