I will be downvoted for this but fuck it. I’m disappointed that Apothecary Diaries isn’t Mao Mao doing her detective stuff on small scale while Jinshi trying to seize power and become next emperor. I like Jinshi but his relationship with Mao Mao was so passive that I hated it in season 1 well season 2 was better but not perfect. I know Jinshi is pretending to be eunuch but man act with some balls. I really wanted this to be something similar to Kingdom when it comes to politics

Maomao is basically a cat in a girl’s body–aloof, honest to herself, uncompromising but loyal, incentive-motivated (herbs and spices rather than food in this case, cute-sized, and adorably eccentric–and who doesn’t love cats?
