    1. If memory serves that was a very small phone. My brother had one with terrible reception, I forget which carrier.

    2. This one has the bigger battery like I had. Used it for 8 years with no problems. Had to get a Blackberry to have email.

    3. Luv luv luved my startac, had a feature you could turn on that chirped very quietly every 5 min until you dealt with a missed call or vm. Huge when away from your phone for a time.

My first cell phone. I was a senior in high school. There were roaming charges and you paid per minute. Because of this, I rarely used my phone but I still had to charge it twice a day so it wouldn’t completely die. My friends with pagers always wanted to use my phone when their pagers went off but I drove them to a pay phone instead.

    5. I remember being able to flip my star tac open with a flick of the wrist and answer calls. I did it in a bar once and it flew out of my hand straight through an open window 🤦

    6. Uncle Sam gave me one of those back in the day when very few folks had them. I thought it was so cool😎 to wear it on my belt. I even had a solar powered battery at one point for it, so I’d leave it in the car and sun to charge.

My mother had the 1996 Olympic Committee Motorola for her first cell phone. That thing was huge compared to this
