Giraffes can’t really take cover during storms and I somehow never thought about that.

    1. Actually, it’s easy for a giraffe to take cover. You simply find a taller giraffe and stand under them.

      They are super tough critters with a thick hide. The ones that don’t become lightning rods are perfectly fine.

    3. Huh. I kinda figured they would at least huddle around tall trees, since I assume they have no way of knowing about lightning.

      Ii always assumed they would tuck under their body….like a flamingo or a cat ….. but I guess not, do they get hit by lightning often? Im not looking it up ….
