    1. It actually stems from a kind of roasty/ playful way of speaking and less directly censorship. I’ve heard people say it irl years ago. If someone says “goofy ass meme” it might come across as a bit sharper than “goofy ahh meme” or at least that’s the way it’s found its way into the vernacular

I blame the tiktok children afraid of shadowbans on the platform.

Saying “Ahh” instead of Ass immediately lets me know I’m speaking with a 16 year old at the oldest.

Frankly it took me until a couple months ago to realize they meant ass when it they said ahh.

    4. Holy shit thats why people ass ahh i thought it little ahh i was like wtf are people so stupid this makes no sense i get it thank you THANK YOU OH GREAT CONQUER

    5. “shit”, “piss”, “fuck”, “cunt”, “cocksucker”, “motherfucker”, and “tits”

Don’t let the ruling class create newspeak via content moderation. Donald Trump is a “grapist.” Good and Pretti weren’t “unalived.” You’re not quirky for censoring yourself, you’re a sheep.

    7. You’re not supposed to read “goofy ahh” as “goofy ass” but “gooffyy aaaaaaaaah”.

      Two different things

    8. Lol the new generation is doing everything it can to not have rights and freedoms to the point they are taking their own free speech away and censoring themselves.

I mean, it’s DankMemes. Most of you probably are children. Same with the other platforms. Most kids only know the current tier of internet ~~censorship~~ demonetization. My Reddit account is probably older than a chunk of users

    10. -sk and -ss literally sound soft. It has nothing to do with censorship and everything to do with social perception of language use

    11. Bro ahh is not a censored version of ass. It’s still ass but it’s just another way black people have been saying ass for YEARS and then it got super popular on TikTok
