I feel like I was the only kid who knew adulthood would suck. I watched my parents get burdened by responsibilities left and right and couldn’t wrap my head around why my classmates wanted to live like that.

Children yearn for the freedom of adulthood.
Adults yearn the lack of responsibility of childhood.
(Thats not to say it applies to everyone or that kids dont have responsibilities or adults have true freedom)
