They’re too busy protecting criminal people who snuck into the country, bc of their “compassion”, despite those criminals assaulting citizens. They’re not informed enough to truly have a foundation or belief.

I think that most of us feel like there will be an end to this fairly soon as long as we show up to the polls in November. That’s why everyone is complacent: there is a non violent path to ending this nightmare.

Goomba Fallacy
Most of the people defending gun rights super hard have also been the people supporting the pedophiles until a few weeks ago. Most of them are in denial, some of them have actually stopped their support, but no one wants to actually do anything yet.
Meanwhile, the group not supporting the current regime has been running protests (No Kings, ICE Out, etc.)

Yes, because they were lying, they wanted to use guns to kill minorities. A ‘tyrannical government’ means if a Muslim won the election

It’s a bit more complex than that.
Basically, Americans are made up of 5 voter blocks. Here’s a not entirely accurate but simple breakdown:
1 are the Dems 35%
1 are the Republicans 25%
1 are the moderates 10%
1 are the Green Party (like less than 1 percent)
And the remaining like 30% of the country are just walking around with blinders on and don’t cast a ballot.
For example, I work in education and was chatting with a coworker and mentioned how Ted Cruz left the state, so the coming storm must be pretty bad.
She didn’t know who Ted Cruz was. Her loudest state senator.
There are millions of *her* walking around not noticing shit. Well, this whole mess has become pretty damn noticeable to people who usually don’t vote.
They’re waking up for the first time (there are a few in my family) and they’re looking at:
A) who is president?
B) who controls the house?
C) their smartest relative for answers
Both parties live in fear of this voter block. They only stir when there’s a hike in prices, civil unrest, or war. Only when their little bubble is popped do they suddenly become conscious.
Whether or not they’ll hold onto that political consciousness long enough to vote remains to be seen.
The left are angry enough to start a revolution, but they don’t have any leadership to tell them where to point their guns or where to mobilize.
The right are super stoked that their brown neighbors are being dragged naked across their lawns and thrown into vehicles never to be seen again.
So the people who always toted their guns in case something like this ever happened are okay with it so long as their orange god commands them to be.
We’re dealing with a cult.
And if the cult weren’t afraid of being thrown out of power by voters, they wouldn’t be trying to nationalize elections.
The voters can still end this without bullets and so we have to *try.*
Many people aren’t ready to die over this (especially if they have kids or people who depend on them). It’s awful to say it out loud, but it’s the truth.
Americans are still clinging to hope that they can have all of these people thrown out of power and hold them to account.
Whether that’s a fantasy or not, we’ll know by the year’s end.

TMW your state banned the guns that would be useful for taking action against government entities equipped like ICE…
