Plot twist: dragons breathe fire because they’re still mad about their birth experience.🤣

It costs $0 to not share this, and yet here we are, collectively clenching.

I used to want to be the Mother of Dragons. After seeing this, I think I’ll just stick to being the Aunt of Goldfish

fun fact: in real life dragons would be too heavy to fly with their wings, this means they are using magic to fly, therefore wings are just secondary sexual characteristics just like boobs and butts

Fun fact but at what cost.

Thats weird, pointy end first would make it a lot easier for the bird no?

Realistically, the egg would be soft when it’s laid, and then harden after being exposed to air. Those spikes would be squishy for the first few hours, and they’d be quite painless while still inside the mother dragon.

Meh, these eggs look a lot nicer then dragon eggs from WoW.

I sure the existence of some Bad Dragons out there proves at least some enjoy the feeling.

Why do the eggs even have scales? It’s like if chicken eggs had feathers and a beak lmfao

>**Which end of an egg, the narrow or wide end, comes out first?** It varies among bird species, but in the chicken the wide end emerges first. Surprisingly, however, the shelled egg comes down the oviduct narrow end first and just before laying, turns 180° ~~1800~~ and then emerges wide end first. On the other hand, guillemots lay their eggs narrow end first. Why the difference? Well, nobody really knows or maybe the answer is that it is just not that important. Not every dragon egg was scaled some where probably just like regular eggs

Huh. I’d never considered that but it makes sense the flat end had a bit of initial resistance and the pointy end was kinda pinched off.Â

ow I will never be able to look at dragon eggs the same way again.

I wonder where the spiky dragon eggs trope came from. IRL reptiles have soft smooth eggs
