I am honestly curious how much your body weight changed by having that removed?

Seems like a pretty fast weight loss plan!

    3. TIL I learned I have a fibroid. I thought it was beer and Doritos until now, but I like your answer better.

    4. Wooooooooah what was the size of it 😳

I have like 3 or 4 and they are refusing to remove them incase I want kids, which i don’t.

    5. My ex had a huge one and a large ovarian cyst. Was not nearly close to what you had apparently, holy crap. Hopefully your periods are less insane now. She’d get bleeding so bad from the fibroids it was like The Shining.

It’s crazy how it was only extending the bottom half of your stomach. Glad it’s taking care of, that shit looks painful.

That is wild!  My ex-wife had a similar sized fibroid when she carried our daughter. Doctors watched it closely during the ultrasounds as it was considered high-risk.  We named it spongebob.  Cant imagine how hard to deal with that must’ve been for both of you.  Glad you’re feeling better!

    8. Did the doctors try to tell you it was in your head or did they suggest you were pregnant? My ex wife had endometriosis, and the doctor told her she was pregnant. Gave birth to a three pound clot through Cesarean.

That probably felt sooo good. I E had several paracentesises done and the pressure relief was incredible. Disregard that I filled back up with fluid within hours.

Did they cut your tummy open, through the muscle? I had that – highly recommend doing PT if you can. My back hurts bc I never strengthened from the get go.

    10. Jesus I can’t imagine living with that kind of pain, it must be such a relief to have it gone

How many doctors did you have to see before one finally believed something was wrong?

Did they also perform a Uterine biopsy as well? I’d be worried about PCOS contributing. Even though PCOS doesn’t cause fibroids, it could be linked because of hormonal issues because of high levels of estrogen.

Women go misdiagnosed. My wife was bleeding for 2 years until we found a Gyno who wasn’t a chump and actually listened and did a biopsy. She had EIN and thankfully there was no cancer found after her total hysterectomy when they evaluated her entire reproductive system.

My Fiancé is getting ready to have a partial hysterectomy because of a fibroid taking up her entire uterine cavity. She’s been bleeding and passing clots everyday uncontrollably since Christmas. She had to have a blood transfusion and an iron infusion because of the blood loss.

This picture is insane to us and I’m glad you’re doing better!

    14. My mom has something practically identical but she’s too afraid of the surgery to get rid of it. Could you spare me a moment and tell me how did it go, what was the process like, if it was any kind of risky?

    15. Thank goodness you took the photo in your underwear, we might not have been able to see it if you were clothed. 🙄
