The U.S. has existed as a post-truth society for a few years now. It doesn’t matter what proof we have of heinous crimes committed by those in power. People only look at social media takes for “news” and even worse, deliberately ignore anything that doesn’t align with their predetermined stance. We’ve been so conditioned to become entrenched that we are unable to unite on any single topic.
