I love that they just printed the exact time and place that you could find Leonard Nimoy in 1969

Shatner must have loved that copy (the star of Star Trek)
Infamously they had to hide Leonard’s sacks of mail to keep Bill from being too jealous.

I really liked the original start trek when I was a kid, but the last thing I’d want to suffer through would be a really awkward breakfast with Leonard Nimoy.

It’s been forever since I’ve seen the phrase “or reasonable facsimile,” but I’m happy to be reunited.

So somebody actually won this. I’d love to have them do an AMA about it. Was it some kid? Did you actually eat actual breakfast with him or just get 10 minutes of awkward conversation?
You also got to ride in the Winter Carnival Parade, which is kind of a local big deal parade, especially in the era. I’ll bet the presence of “Spock” in the parade (I assume as some VIP) would have made it newsworthy enough to get in the local paper.

Captain – the whole premise of this contest is illogical 🤔.

I’ve never watched an episode of star trek in my life, is that weird?
