Hi everyone! Here’s a graph on the accuracy of America’s spring predicting animals! The data comes from the NOAA (2005 – 2024) and only includes groundhogs with at least 20 predictions on their resumes.

Punxsutawney Phil is worse at his job than a *taxidermied* groundhog? Coasting on his name recognition and movie fame, I suppose. There aren’t many people who could keep a gig if they’re under-performing a cadaver.
