Without trying to diminish the human trafficking and sexual abuse… the way they talk to each other and how connected they all are is fascinating and scary. Not just this email, the lot of them.
They completely turn empathy off for people they consider inconsequential (victims or just people that will suffer under their economic policies) but they build so many strong bonds between them. Across ideological lines, across continents, they make the effort to meet and keep up with each other, joke and scheme together.
It opens questions about the human brain. Are these people built differently and that’s why they rise/stay at the top? or would most people behave like that if they were powerful enough?
