I have a better idea. How about billionaires pay fair taxes? How about corporations be required to contribute larger shares into the communities they serve? How about huge taxes on corporate bonuses over 100k? How about we enforce those emollient laws that prevent politicians from profiting off their positions, and make them pay that back to the people?

We don’t work FOR the federal government’s debt. We aren’t even treated well by the government. SOME very poor and elderly and/or disabled persons get *some* money – not enough to live on. SOME ppl get tax credits based on how they reproduce. SOME ppl get help from the federal government when a natural catastrophe strikes. Most beneficiaries are entities at this point. Churches. Billionaires with their corporate tax break finagling paying less than your average American. Oh! And apparently Presidents and their families at this point. The ppl getting the least are paying the most.
Switching to universal healthcare would generate a net profit of even more than 3 trillion dollars, while also giving the healthier workforce this charlatan wants

The average American makes about $75k/yr, and they worked one year longer, the math is as follows:
1/80 (average life expectancy) is the number of people at any given age
350M Americans
20% tax rate
$70,000 x (1/80) x 350,0000,000 x 20%=$6.13×10¹¹
The national debt is 3.8×10^13 — about 200x that amount.
So not only would this NOT solve the debt crisis, it wouldn’t even reduce the debt by 1%.

Hell I worked from 15 to 63½ the last 34 because my late wife was disabled from an auto accident and I could not leave it because I had seniority and couldnt give up the medical.
I retired a month after my house was paid off, and a year later had a spinal fusion to repair my back, which the job destroyed.
