I’m glad everyone is getting streaming fatigue finally

Pirating almost went completely away because streaming was cost effective and easy, now its expensive, complicated, ad ridden and sucks. they did this to them self’s TBH

It isn’t even the number for me. The quality is atrocious with their stupid DRMs and whatever else.
And lets not forget their awful web-apps.

I do miss HBO idly threatening me with a $250,000 fine and jail time everytime I pirate a Game of Thrones episode.

Which streaming service has the icon with the greater than sign with a red background?

I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ (don’t judge me, I get Disney free with my bank account). Anything on Prime or Disney that I want to watch I download from YIFY, because I’m fucked if I’m watching adverts.

Turns out piracy was just a free trial with unlimited features.

When streaming was booming, I was more worried about hard-to-find shows (or subtitled media) disappearing, so I saved arr-matey copies of my favorite shows (especially those that literally went poof, like The Owl House).
The worst thing was when my old hard drive failed… I thought all those good shows would go missing.
Then I realized the arr-mateys just need to ensure there’s a seed, and you can always buy more HDDs.

They couldn’t be happy with millions and had to try and grab billions.
Wish i could be a fly on the wall in the next bullshitty meeting regarding subscribers and lack of them. Ha.

Love the comic, but the title… nobody says “… come handy” with habits — that’s not a phrase.
“Old habits die hard” is the correct phrase

I never stopped 🏴☠️ing even with 4 active subscriptions 😆 now down to 1 cause it comes with the free Amazon delivery.

Given how much they currently charge, imagine what Netflix would be charging with no competition

I was watching the Wolf of Wall Street on Netflix, but then it got taken away before I could finish? That’s another negative for online streaming same with music, at least if you pirate you have the media.

It’s simple.
Everything was on Netflix, a single subscription. Now it isn’t.
So back to bluray disc or the pirate sea it is.
