    1. My wife and I went to palenque a few years ago! Absolutely incredible experience. HUGE park full of massive temples, many of which you can climb, and at least one you can enter. Also tons of wildlife. And only a small fraction of it is excavated!

    2. I read “cinnabun powder” and thought this was a macabre Halloween treat. I suppose it still could be for the right person.

    3. So they either put the remains in and coated them or it was opened at some point after degradation and covered? Excuse my ignorance I know 0 about artifacts.

    4. With that much mercury on her, I’m surprised she didn’t hop right back out of the coffin!
