Woah. I haven’t thought about SMBC in like a decade…

Hey, I just wanted to say how much I loved *City on Mars*! It was 100% not what I expected, but 100% a fascinating look at all the stuff beyond the initial engineering issues. As a chemistry professor who loves hard sci-fi, I hadn’t even realized how most sci-fi and space colonization advocates hand-wave right past the social, legal, and diplomatic obstacles in our current international law system.
Oh, and SMBC is easily on my Mt Rushmore of webcomics. Keep it up, Weinersmith!

My name’s Zach and I drew the thing. I draw more things here on a website: [Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal – Grow](https://smbc-comics.com/)
PS: I have a kids’ book out because it’s a middle-aged cartoonist right of passage: [Sawyer Lee and the Quest to Just Stay Home](https://us.macmillan.com/books/9780374393496/sawyerleeandthequesttojuststayhome/)
Is there any context I’m missing?
