Just to put this in perspective, under Trump we’ve now had a total of four separate shutdowns, officially beating out Reagan’s record of three. However, despite this, Reagan’s shutdowns only lasted an accumulative 5 days. Trump’s shutdowns have as of today totaled to 82 days and with the new shutdown that number is still counting. The second highest amount of accumulative shutdown days was with Bill Clinton at 27 accumulative days. Trump has three times the amount.
This isn’t going to end well. Period. It doesn’t matter if the democrats dig in their heels to get what this country needs. Trump has been shown to be perfectly okay with starving the entire country until he gets what he wants.
