I am shocked about SD-9. That’s a huge flip for the Dems in a district that is gerrymandered in Republicans favor.

The other one that flipped is a big shake up. It means 1 of 2 things. Either Republicans just aren’t voting for one reason or another (perhaps disillusioned) or they’re voting blue. Third option could be a higher turn out of blue voters.
Whichever way it’s a bad sign for the GOP in Texas. And hopefully this continues. If gerrymandered, cheated maps won’t help them they’re truely screwed. Fingers crossed.
