Unique show. Unique premise. Solid cast and supporting cast. Theme song slapped. RIP.

    2. I always felt that if I met him in a bar we would be the best of friends in about half an hour.  Thanks for the laughs Lamont you will be missed.

    3. I looked up his career and he continued to get parts for many years. 79 years old is a pretty good age.

    4. I’m a child of the 70s and 80s. Some of my core memories are watching my dad laugh his ass off at Fred Samford, and Archie Bunker. This was such an important show. Lamont was perfect. RiP ya big dummy. Lamont’s on his way Elizabeth.

This one hits different. Watched so many episodes of Sanford and Son in the 80s & 90s. I think it imprinted on my personality because I channel Fred and Lamont sometimes. So sad to hear

Sanford and Son has been one of my favorite comedies since Nickelodeon started showing reruns of it back in the late 1990s when I was a kid Simply one of the funniest shows ever. Demond Wilson was a heck of a talent to be able to keep up with Redd Foxx.

Rip to the legend. Fun fact In 1994, he formed the Restoration House of America, which gives Spiritual guidance and vocational training to former inmates. His acting mentor was Redd Foxx
