The “barter system” is mostly an ahistorical myth btw, no one actually went around trying to trade their eggs for wool or whatever.

We need to return to a bartering society, that way everyone is forced to have objectively worthy skills and occupations, and cannot exploit the economy and it’s universal currency.
In a bartering society, you HAVE to be useful, or else you have nothing to trade. In our currency world, you can cheat and exploit, and create weird middleman-like occupations to take advantage of the necessity of centralized trade via universal currency.
