    1. I doubt the site is rigged. Only MAGA nuts would go to see this movie, and you need a ticket in order to leave a verified review. Those MAGA nuts are going to give it a positive review no matter what the movie is like.

Hundreds of brand new account that have never posted another review mysteriously showing up to give positive reviews to this movie. I’m sure it’s nothing, please do not investigate further.

    3. It’s maga brigading trash even they won’t watch. It’s happened before and will happen again.

Everyone should stream Michelle Obama doc on Netflix this weekend, just leave it on over and over.

    6. My favorite summary of it was: she just walks in and out of rooms and then rides in a limo

      😭

    7. 100+ verified ratings? Im not sure 100 people have even seen this. Wasn’t opening day fucking 1 or something like that?

    8. Can someone explain the difference between to tomatometer and the popcornmeter to the uninitiated?

This is selection bias. No normal person would buy a ticket for this POS. 93% of media critics who were paid to watch it said it was bad. It could be that 99% of the people who paid to see it are so invested in the Trump brand that they would say they enjoyed it.

    10. I feel this is like Cory in the House being the #2 video game on Metacriric – people ironically bumping something bad, not necessarily the 5 people who saw this crap making new accounts to rate it.

Such a bribe and who the fuck really wanna see that shit. I’m surprised that Trump didn’t promote this shit on his social media for his followers.

    12. I love the review that says “ the whole theatre stood up and erupted in applause.” Lmao yeah okay

I knew RT was being funny about it because on release day there were no reviews posted yet

It’s not really “rigging” since RT shows the verified audience score by default and you need a ticket (via Fandango) for that.

    15. Is it possible that 99% is because 99 people connected to the film saw it and only 1 person not connected to the film saw it?

Man, I don’t know if it’s more sad that these people are so desperate to appear popular, or if it’s more sad that they actually think this is a legitimately good tactic that nobody would notice.

Either way, what a bunch of losers
