But not as in the drug makes you suicidal, rather if you are suicidal because you hate your depressed life and the medication allows you to act upon it because it motivates you to be more active…
Also, side effects doesn’t mean that people had that during the trial, it means that people SAID they had that. It is more of a legal statement so that you can’t sue the manufacturer.

I appreciate that one…also the “don’t take Medicine X if you are allergic to it or any of it’s components”. Yes, thank you Sheila but how would I know that if I’ve never taken it before?

One of my latest meds noted it could cause “diarrhoea or constipation”. Make your mind up!

I was told by my teacher in HS that they need to put EVERYTHING on that disclaimer. Even if a death wasn’t really related to the drug, they STILL need to put it on there.
My teacher was a 20 year cardiovascular surgeon, but it’s been like 3 years since I’ve graduated. Take my words with a grain of salt.

From my experience this is only the case initially while your brain adapts to the medication, as it can really put you out of your right mind. Those real negative side effects bleed off pretty quickly. I can only speak for myself though of course

Fun fact- you can still have suicidal thoughts even while taking meds for suicidal ideation.
